Vernon Youngdale holds a lifelong interest in the facets of real estate and construction. Vernon began his passionate pursuit towards real estate full-time in 2002; currently with Berkshire Hathaway in La Jolla, CA. He has achieved several prestigious company awards, with a career total of over $135 million dollars.

Throughout the years, Vernon and his wife have purchased and sold seven homes and accomplished extensive remodeling projects. His personal experience and background with construction renovation enables him to provide invaluable advice to his clients.

With deep roots as a Muirlands La Jolla native since 1962, Vernon has an outstanding reputation and strong relationships in the San Diego community. He is extremely loyal and protective of his clients. He offers his expert opinion on the market and is always analytically honest about a property's strengths and limitations. After fifteen years of commitment and hard work, it is a testimony to Vernon's skill and professionalism that nearly 90% of Vernon's clients come from client referrals.

Professional History:

Son of a General Contractor, Vernon initially worked in construction until earning a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture at Cal-Poly from the School of Environmental Design. He then worked with The Golf Course Architecture group of Belt Collins, in Honolulu and Normandy, France.
After returning to the US, he worked as a landscape architect; then was project manager for Stone Residential Real Estate Development in San Diego where he handled all facets of development from land acquisition, mapping, project management, landscape design, and sales. In the early 1990's. Vernon then pursued sales with American Express, Computer Associates (software), and IBM in Orange County. Vernon then re-located to San Francisco to work in business development with internet startup companies in San Francisco.
In 2002, he pursued real estate with Prudential CA Realty; now Berkshire Hathaway Home Services CA Properties.
